Sunset Serenity: The Japanese Temple Oasis

Story:
"Set in the distant year 2104, this narrative unfolds in China, 70 years after a cataclysmic disaster reshaped the world. In the aftermath, humanity decided to revive only two ancient cultures: Christianity and Buddhism. Both religions were chosen for their principles that promote peace and harmony.

Buddhism offers the practice of meditation to calm the mind, while Christianity emphasizes the avoidance of the seven deadly sins, fostering cooperation and reducing the likelihood of conflict. In the mountainous forests, which have grown more prominent since the disaster, survivors are dedicated to restoring achievements, architecture, and cultural heritage. This village represents humanity's effort to preserve and rebuild culture by creating a new society."

- My art book inspired this piece, which I completed two months ago. The creation process for this 3D project was complecated and multifaceted, involving ideation, sketching, compositing, 3D modeling, topologizing, UV mapping, developing both low and high poly versions for optimal aesthetics and performance, baking, 3D texturing, lighting, and finally, rendering.

- Throughout this project, I gained substantial experience with both ZBrush and Unreal Engine 5. I also enhanced my existing proficiency with Blender and Substance Painter to bring this vision to life.
